The People Behind Rajasthan International Film Festival – RIFF

Every great cinematic journey begins with a vision. RIFF is the story of a vision to bring cinema, creativity, and cultures together on one platform.

The Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) was founded with a mission to create a vibrant platform for filmmakers, artists, storytellers, and cinema enthusiasts from Rajasthan, India, and across the world. Since its inception in 2015, RIFF has been committed to celebrating the art of filmmaking, encouraging independent cinema, promoting regional storytelling, and building meaningful connections between the film fraternity and audiences.

Driven by a passion for cinema and a belief in the power of stories to connect people beyond borders, the founders envisioned RIFF as more than just a film festival. It is a meeting ground for ideas, a platform for emerging talent, and a celebration of Rajasthan's rich cultural heritage through the universal language of cinema.

Over the years, RIFF has continued to create opportunities for filmmakers, nurture creative collaborations, recognize cinematic excellence, and bring diverse voices and perspectives to the forefront.

Behind RIFF is a commitment to cinema, a belief in creative expression, and a vision to place Rajasthan prominently on India's and the world's cinematic map.
